Exterior MDF is a wooden fibre board (MDF) made from carefully selected fibres, bound with PMDI glues (containing no formaldehyde EO) under pressure and high temperatures and PEFC certified.

Exterior MDF is a Water Resistant MDF board which complies with the V100 testing method (defined in Standard 1087-1).It is suitable for being used in Classes of Risk 1, 2 and 3, as defined by standard EN 335-3. Therefore, some of its most outstanding characteristics are:
  • High resistance to humidity
  • Good dimensional stability
  • Low swelling in extreme humidity
Can be used in outdoor areas, where there is no contact with the ground.Its surface and edges should be protected with an exterior paint, or for indoor areas that separate environments at different temperatures e.g. laundries/bathrooms.

Fire Retardant MDF is a fibre board manufactured with flame retardant additives, specially conceived for those applications where an improvement in behavior under fire conditions is an added safety value to the whole.

Flame retardant MDF is identified by its red colour.

Classification E1.

Raw Panel MDF

Black Fire Retardant MDF is a medium density Fibre board manufactured with flame retardant additives. Group 1 AS/NZ 3837-1998.

Classification EO Panel Product.

Characteristics

Black Fire Retardant MDF is especially conceived for those applications where an improvement in behaviour against fire is required. It can of course be identified by its black colouring.
