The term Non-Structural is used to describe plywood that has not been tested to achieve any structural rating meaning the plywood is not designed to carry load. In saying that it is probably the most popular form of plywood sold in Australia mainly due to it's price point.
Typically produced from Radiata Pine timber, most non-structural plywood is imported from South America - in particular Chile.
Applications are varied and can range from lightweight shelving, wall lining (not as bracing), hobby projects etc.
